«Belongings: the dialogue between image and word. The biographical space, grandmothers, and objects» is a literary, visual, and audio investigation that seeks to explore the figure of the grandmother through a process of individual mourning that later became collective mourning. It is a photographic project about grandmothers and their belongings that brings us closer to the different ways in which a family documents and preserves its memories and dynamics, showing the role that women play in the family. It is a work that explores memory and genealogy, tracing each testimony that was compiled for the research. The development of this entire project is characterized by the constant intersection and dialogue between theory and practice, where both pursuits have influenced and affected each other through visual, literary, poetic, and intertextual elements.
